Redwood Park:
The Redwood loop is a bit more challenging than the Tilden ride. West Ridge's descent can be a handful if not respected, and the climb up to East Ridge trail always makes us wish we hadn't eaten those Ding Dongs that seem to sporadically end up around the shop. From Berkeley, Redwood Park is easily accessed by riding up Spruce St. to Grizzly Peak and following Grizzly Peak to Skyline Blvd. Skyline winds along on route to the Skyline/Redwood Gate where West Ridge awaits to be ridden. |
