Tilden Park:
Easy to get to from the shop, the Tilden loop offers a nice intermediate level ride that even the experts can have a lot of fun on. There's some pavement to cross in order to access the dirt, but the Conlon descent is an old favorite around here and the views from the Nimitz Way trail are fabulous. From Berkeley, ride up Spruce St. to Wildcat Canyon Road. Take Wildcat to Inspiration Point where the paved Nimitz Way trail begins and have at it. The pavement ends at the Conlon descent. |
